What is courage?

It's straightforward to unite your people against a common threat. Not easy, not necessarily easy to inspire them. But at least it's a "clear" thing to do.
To divide your people in order to fight a much graver threat within is something I hadn't thought possible from a man like Ariel Sharon. People can always surprise you.
I hope I'm not eating crow in two months, having said, in this post, that the current Sharon-Abbas ceasefire gives me hope. Rabin and Arafat tried it once before -- I pray that things have changed.
