betimes, there is a teacup
Dec. 5th, 2005 11:22 pmNot just a teacup -- this is a big honking mug. Honking.
Let's say it's a touch chilly in one's bedroom. Let's say the mug's been sitting there. Then let's say one prepares tea with it.
Adding hot water to said mug, and an audible "clink" is heard.
At the join between the mug's body and its handle, there is now a neat circular crack. Yeah, from the heat.
Two conclusions:
1. It's nicely winter now
2. New kettle's far too efficient
